This past weekend, we celebrated something truly special—my brother graduated with his master’s degree in Elementary Education! Watching him walk across that stage was one of those moments that makes your heart swell with pride and gratitude. It’s not just about the degree (though that in itself is a huge accomplishment), it’s about the journey it took to get here.

Over the past two years, he’s been pouring his heart into his role as a third-grade teacher. He’s currently rounding out his second year in the classroom, and I’ve seen firsthand how much he’s grown—both professionally and personally. Teaching isn’t just a job for him. It’s a calling. And it’s been amazing to witness how he’s stepped fully into a career that fills him with purpose and joy.
He made a decision a few years ago to completely shift the direction of his life. It wasn’t easy. Starting over never is. But he committed to building a future rooted in service, education, and impact—and he did it with grace, grit, and a whole lot of heart.

His students adore him. His coworkers admire him. And our family couldn’t be more proud of the man he’s become. He’s patient, thoughtful, always learning, and constantly pouring into the next generation. That kind of growth—real, meaningful growth—can’t be captured by a diploma alone, but this weekend it felt like the tassel turned for so much more than academic success. It was a moment of recognition for all the effort, sacrifice, and quiet determination behind the scenes.
Watching him beam in his cap and gown, surrounded by people who love him, reminded me how powerful it is to chase a life that aligns with your values. He didn’t just earn a degree—he built a life he’s proud of. And that’s the real win.
To my brother: thank you for inspiring us. For proving that it’s never too late to choose growth, to follow your passion, and to pour yourself into something bigger than you. You make us all better just by being you.

Here’s to many more milestones ahead. We’re cheering for you every step of the way.
